Techno grew out of Detroit in the 1980s and became the backbone of club and warehouse culture across Europe. It is built on a steady four-to-the-floor kick, repetition and gradual change, which is why a good techno night is less about single tracks and more about a long, hypnotic arc. In Bucharest it lives in dark rooms, basements and secret locations, and it runs through most Euphoria lineups, from The Red Rave to Techno Session and Secret Location Rave.
