Secret Location Rave: how Bucharest's secret raves work
A proper sound system, a real venue and an address nobody posts in advance. Secret Location Rave is the Euphoria Underground format people ask about most. Here is how it works and how it has grown since 2024.
What Secret Location Rave is
Secret Location Rave is Euphoria Underground's signature night in Bucharest. The venue stays secret until close to the date, and the crowd comes for the music rather than the phones. The lineups lean towards techno and its harder edges, and some editions have run well beyond sunrise.
The secrecy is about the address, not the event: the date, the ticket releases, the lineup once it is announced and the area of the city are published on the event page like any other night.
The editions so far
The archive opens with an edition around Unirii on 11 May 2024, followed by a Secret Location Rave at NJOY on 25 October 2024. Secret Location Rave #4 took place on 16 May 2025, and #5 on 3 October 2025 brought Max Durante and Yu Kawabata with nine more DJs, listed from 23:00 until the following evening.
Secret Location Rave #6 on 15 May 2026 opened two stages in an industrial warehouse, co-promoted with Tactik, and #7 followed on 21 August 2026. The eighth edition, Secret Location Rave VIII, is on 6 November 2026.
How the address reaches you
The event page shows the area. The exact address is sent by email to ticket holders closer to the night, so buy with an address you can open on your phone and check your inbox, including Spam and Promotions, before you leave.
If the email is missing, recover your tickets with the same email address you used at checkout. Do not share the address or your QR code publicly: the QR is your entry, and it can be scanned only once.
Before you go
Secret Location Rave is 18+, so bring a valid ID. Tickets are sold in releases that rise in price as each one sells out or closes, and the event page always shows the current one.
Plan for a late start and a long night: editions have started at 22:00 or 23:00 and run into the morning or beyond. The event page has the times for the edition you are going to.
